Here's what's going on

Welcome to this week's edition of the Freelancers Business Boost newsletter. I'm excited to share some recent developments and actionable tips to help you scale your freelance business.

My Recent Activities

After finishing a corporate interim freelance gig, I've pivoted to a subscription model called BTNG Unlimited. Here are some of the exciting projects I'm currently working on:

  1. Ecommerce Plant Pots and More: I'm redesigning an ecommerce site that focuses on beautiful plant pots, vases, and wall dividers. I'm using the Relume Sitebuilder for the sitemap and wireframes, and the UntitledUI Design System for the UI work.
  2. Dutch Online Apothecary: I'm helping redesign their mobile and tablet navigation. This project has been an amazing challenge, and I’ll be sharing the results soon. Be sure to follow me on LinkedIn or X to stay updated.
  3. Dutch Print Online Platform: I'm working on validating new ideas for one of the largest print platforms in the Netherlands. This project is still hush-hush and very secretive, but stay tuned for more details.

Exciting News

The two-month drought of projects is finally over, and I have several more projects in the pipeline. Here are some other updates:

  • New YouTube Video: Just launched a new video on creating landing pages that convert, sponsored by Mobbin. Check it out for valuable tips!
  • Upcoming Talks:
    • CareerFoundry: Join me for "What I Wish I Knew If I Had to Start Over (as a UX Designer)" on Thursday, June 13 at 5 PM CEST. Sign up for free here.
    • Sorbet’s Designer Talks: I'll be on X discussing how to grow your following, attract clients, and scale up on Tuesday, June 11 at 9 PM CET. Join for free here.

Actionable Insight of the Week

Let people know what you're doing. Share your projects, talks, and accomplishments. Make sure people know you exist. If they don't know you, they won't know what you have to offer or think of you when they need someone.

Remember, visibility is key to attracting clients and growing your freelance business.

Peace!
